MP Scratchbuilt Station - "What If" design
Here is my rendition of a slightly modified station (based on a slightly modifed depot circa 1949 and the asbestos shingle era). Dick Ryker's old station planbook depicted a number of similar strucures with 24' by 42' amd 24' X 60' versions being very common. This version has lost the decorative trim over the end gables, but is otherwise similar to depots on the White River, Arkansas, and Louisiana divisions. I may scratchbuild a metal awning for the bay window to really look like a 50's era depot. I've already done an AMB handcar/tool shed with the diamond style roof and door trim to match this depot. - Built by Jim Ogden
