Joplin - Freight House It was located at 10th and Kentucky Streets, two blocks east of the depot and just northwest of the roundhouse.   It was in use until around 1984 and was accidentially destroyed by fire around 1991.

Texarkana - KCS Tower KCS tower is actually called the Cotton Belt Tower by locals in Texarkana.   It was built and maintained by the TP but manned by the Cotton Belt, if I remember correctly.   This tower is where the T&P Shreveport Line headed south, the SSW crossed the TP and the KCS crossed the other two.   Technically speaking the MoP ends a few hundred feet north at the Arkansas line.   J Ogden
A friend of mine was tower operator in Texarkana at this tower in the 1959-1965 period and he worked for (and was paid by) the T&P.   Dean Hale
