Thanks for this forum and accesss to MoPac members,like Ive said I live in Higginsville Mo which was a station on the lexington Branch and Ive gotten copies of employee TT from members and Im starting to do the “”foot”” work in getting data and since its getting to be Fall I can see more of the old ROW but still would like more data…the local Higginsville station(GM&O/KCS)has been restored just need photos of the MP station(which I think the restored station has…what Id like to ask is what type of steam was used on the branch??Id think 4-6-0/2-8-0 not much bigger but then Ive no knowledge of the customer base for the branch other farm loadings(there was a coal mine in Higginsville but think it was GMO/C&A related???By the way Im retired(E-L/CR car inspector)hired on the old E-L in 1963 then CR,retired 2012 CSX)…living almost on top of the branch will be doing as much “”foot””work as I can(will use the offices of the county in Lexington Mo.)…OK guess its time to send this along..
