I’ve installed the roof grab irons for the copula and then scatchbuilt the Motorola “firecracker” antenna base. Hard part will be deciding on how to attach it to the narrow roof seams. I’m thinking about using a couple pieces of angle styrene to fit between the seams to provide a larger surface area to CA the base to the roof. I’m going to paint it separately to ease painting of the roof. I’m at the point that I’m ready to paint the underframe, trucks, and roof. I’ve started on the body of the caboose which will need two windows filled in and then general resin flash clean up and sanding.
