Here’s a couple of updates to the branch operations. The SHPX 33,000 gallon tank car is an Atlas model was added for a loaded anhydrous ammonia interchange move between the Rock Island and the MP at Eldon. The Mopac local will then spot the car to the farm supply at Russellville on the return trip to Jeff City. The tank had large red factory lettering for Royson on the sides. I removed it with lettering and decal remover and added the COTS blocks and ACI label. The area around the ends and trucks were given a liberal air brushing of Dullcote with some black and brown mixed in to denote right of way spray off the trucks. Rust streaks were added using oil paints and odorless turpentoid.
The RI GP7 got some additional grime and a few rust streaks using oils and odorless turpentoid. This is the Bachmann locomotive that is pretty inexpensive. Runs and sounds great.
