Nice engine. I saw a true 0 scale 4-8-4 crawling through a yard on a home layout in Houston at the 1965 NMRA Lone Star convention. It’s unbelievable how big and massive 0 scale is compared to HO, 8 times as big when all 3 dimensions are factored. That engine rumbled and clanked because of its own weight as it crept through a slip switch. 0 scale is the way to go if you have the space and want to get close to the prototype’s sheer massiveness.
