Here’s a snap shot from an early equipment register dated 1916.

Lloyd Stagner wrote a book on the Midland Valley titled ‘Midland Valley Rails for Coal, Cattle and Crude’. Unfortunately he did not cover the KO&G. Mopac in Color Volume 1 by Jim Boyd has a nice chapter on the Muskogee Roads. The Missouri Pacific Historical Society published a book on Mopac cabooses written by Jerry Michels that had a chapter on KO&G/MV cabooses.
If you model in HO scale the Missouri Pacific Historical Society has a very nice decal set for the KO&G/MV.
As the your question on the F-7’s – these were ordered to match the MP and T&P F unit fleets as the three roads had a run thru train from KC to Ft. Worth.
Gary Herron is on the BB and probably has more details on your questions.
