    I was recently given a couple of BLI’s new quad hoppers that I would like to renumber for the MP. Does anyone know of any decals that would work for these cars?

    Mask Island makes several boxcar and caboose sets in HO for the steam/ early diesel era. Hubert includes many numbering options in these sets so I’d think you could just buy one set and renumber several hoppers. We carry all of these sets in the Company Store. I’ve used several of his sets and his decals are very thin and can recommend them highly.

    Charlie Thanks. Would you happen to know if the sizes of the buzz saws or Route of the Eagles is right for the hoppers? I looked at the Mask Island site and it looks like some of the boxcars would work.

    I measured the height of the side on a Stewart three bay hopper and its 7′ 4′. The Route of the Eagles logo in set 87-280 is 4’4″ from the bottom of the g in eagle to the top of the f in of. Looking on page 74 of the Color Guide for Mopac equipment I have to think its very close if not the same stenciling as used on the boxcars. The buzz saw in 87-280 looks to be the right size too.
