MPHS accepts cash and non-cash donations. Donations are used to support the Society’s Mission and help pay for on-going expenses not covered by annual Membership dues. We greatly appreciate all donations to the Society!
Missouri Pacific Historical Society is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations to MPHS are tax deductible.

How Donations Help MPHS
Memberships
Regular Membership dues cover publishing and postage costs related to the Eagle and Calendar. Sustaining and Eagle Memberships also include a tax-deductible donation.
The Missouri Pacific Historical Society is a non-profit, all volunteer group. All monies collected through dues and purchases from the Company Store go towards the effort to preserve the history of the Missouri Pacific Railroad and its predecessors. Come join us in that effort.
Cash Donations
Cash donations are greatly appreciated and accepted by check, money order, PayPal, or credit card. Checks and money orders can be mailed to the following address:

Non-Cash Donations
Non-cash donations are greatly appreciated and include donations of appreciated stock, securities, real estate, and railroad collections. Stock, securities, and real estate donations transactions are handled by the MPHS Treasurer with US Bank Trust. Contact the MPHS Treasurer at [email protected] for coordination of these types of donations.
Railroad collection donations are handled by the MPHS Archivist and accepted at the Archives office in St. Louis. Contact the Archivist at [email protected] if you like to make a railroad collection donation. Our Archivist will inventory and provide written feedback on donated items.
Benevolences
MPHS graciously accepts donations from friends and families in honor and memory of individuals who have died. We recognized the individuals and donors on an annual basis in the MPHS Eagle Magazine. Buy and Sell on ebay
You can support the MPHS when you buy and sell on eBay through the eBay Giving Works program. Here’s how. Click Here to visit eBay’s MPHS Giving Works and follow the directions. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see any items currently for sale on eBay that a portion of the proceeds benefit the MPHS.
Feel free to share the MPHS link on any social media site you use, with any potential donor. Once transactions are completed the funds are transferred to the MPHS to help our efforts to preserve the heritage of the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Here is your chance to use eBay to sell your items and also support the work of the MPHS at the same time.
When you sell an item and select the MPHS as your Giving Works participant, the percentage you chose to donate is also used to reduce your eBay listing fees if the item sells. eBay Giving Works tracks your donations and provides the necessary paperwork for tax deduction purposes.
