Hey Guys,

I am at my wit’s end with trying to match the blue on 2 Atlas HO scale B23-7 locomotives.

Have any of you tried to take the shell from the frame and paint just the cab and body? I have 2 cabs built by someone who’s name eludes me now. (The cabs come without the 2 extra side windows that most railroads plated over.)

I have tried all types of Jenk’s blue and nothing matches. I even tried a can of Krylon blue that looks like a dead ringer for Jenk’s blue.

The striping on the side sill is perfect and I hate the idea of having to repaint this just to match the cab and shell.

Come on guy’s, help a fella out!
