    Ted Culotta of Speedwitch Media has released an outstanding history and modeling article on the Missouri Pacific and subsidiaries 45′ panel-side gondola in his Prototype Railroad Profiles series. The article covers the history of the cars with multiple in service photos plus it includes an in depth modeling guide using the Funaro & Camerlengo kit #6143. The price is $7 for the download.     I picked up one of these at last week’s St. Louis meet. While i was at it, I talked with Ted Culotta who’s done the best decal version of the DeSoto (MoPac 30s to 1963) lettering style that I’ve ever seen. He’s got a 1958 cu ft ACF covered hopper plus the gondola, and seems interested in doing more.
