Yarmouth Model Works has announced a HO scale C&EI ACF 40′ box car kit car numbers 64500-64699. Built in Jan ’49 with 10’4″ IH and 6′ doors. The first 100 cars had Youngstown doors and the last 100 Superior doors. The website doesn’t have an as-built photo, but a photo of a car in a similar series.

Following the merger with the C&EI, these cars were renumbered in to the 117932-117990 series. In 1979 there were still 17 cars on the roster. I attached a photo of 117949 circa 1978 of what these cars would have looked like at that time.
