There’s an eBay dealer selling several pieces of Jefferson china recently they are claiming it’s from the railroad. This was not an uncommon pattern and was used in homes (a lighter, thinner plate for normal used) and for hotels (heavier and thicker plates – like RR china) and was only backstamped with the marker.

Missouri Pacific pieces are clearly backstamped so don’t be mislead by these listings.
