That assignment between Fort Worth and El Paso is a new one for me. Its interesting how these car assignments changed over the years, and as others have noted, none of the MP scenery could be described as “spectacular”. Riding the Texas Eagle in the dome at night north of Little Rock would have been an interesting trip, however, until the front windows were plated over.
