Atlas has a lot of nice O scale. Covered hoppers from early 2 bays up to PS 4750’s including the 3 and 6 bay cylindricals. All the ones I have seen have very nice paint jobs. They also have some 50′ PS-1’s, not sure about 40′ cars.

I noticed some nice looking resin kits at the Collinsville RPM a couple of years ago. Be sure you check on availability of modern freight car trucks if you want to do some scratch building. There are several good P:48 web sites I’m sure you have found….the P:48 Yahoo group used to be good, but I haven’t been there for quite a while.

Good luck, Proto 48 looks like fun if you have the room. There is a lot of great looking stuff out there!
