Located under the Historic Archive menu you’ll find a new option called Member Uploads. Available only to MPHS members, here you can upload your Missouri Pacific related images and documents to share with other members. Other members will be able to view your uploads but only you can download and manage them.
Your uploads will be placed in a folder named with your name and email address. This allows other members to know who uploaded the content and gives them a means to contact you if they are interested in discussing or acquiring something you’ve shared.
The MPHS reserves the right to add your uploaded items to our archives in the event you have something of unique interest that we do not already have. In such case, the items will be attributed to you. Offensive or off-topic content will be removed. By using this feature you acknowledge that you are the rightful owner of the uploaded material or have permission to upload it.
Over the years we have collected stories from both employees and fans of the Missouri Pacific and its affiliates. These personal stories preserve the memories of those who worked for, traveled on, and admired the Missouri Pacific. Help us grow this collection of shared experiences by sharing your story!
As an MPHS member, when you visit Our Stories you will be invited to share your story. Once you do so, an MPHS volunteer will review your story prior to it being publicly available. Once reviewed, your story will be available for other members to read.
Although you must be an MPHS member to share your story, Our Stories are available to read by everyone.
Our Archivist has provvded a set of tools to help researches locate desired items in our collection. Think of them as a sort of map or table of contents for the archives.
Your membership supports production of our quarterly magazine, The Eagle, our annual calendar, and our continuing efforts to digitize and present our archives.
Regular Members receive 4 issues of the Eagle, MPHS Calendar, member discounts at the Company Store, full access to the MPHS Archives, and access to participate on the MPHS Forums.
