What file format do the posts need to be in? jpeg or pdf?

What is available depends on how much work you want done before posting. Do you want items that are tagged with locations, types of equipment, etc?
We have well over 5000 digital pictures from various sources, but most are unsorted, uninventoried, unnamed, untagged.

We also have over 2000 drawings. Many stations, assorted equipment. Also lots of smaller structures, bridges, turntables, etc… Again nothing inventoried or tagged.

Microfilm scans? Again, needs lots of work.

We are approaching the 50,000 file mark in the digital archive, and that does not include the latest CD from Harper.

Another thing to consider is the lost opportunity cost of selling some of the drawings, and other technical items – many of the societies have downloads, reprints, and cds of these items available for sale.

We are a non-profit, all volunteer group. All monies collected through dues and purchases from the Company Store go towards the effort to preserve the history of the Missouri Pacific Railroad and its predecessors. Come join us in that effort.
