I did a poor job of keeping track of the color but if I was to paint it today I’d use Tru-Color 118 which is a boxcar brown recommended by Ed Hawkins based on period paint chips. I think it too on the faded look when I sprayed it with an acrylic flat. Dullcote is a better flat coat and doesn’t seem to fade to paint as much as you see here. The I-GN boxcar in the lower photo is the factory box car red from Atlas. I removed the small buzz saw and added the larger buzz saw and the Route of the Eagles. I need to cover up the ‘NEW…….’ By the light weight on the I-GN car and add a weighing station and a date in the 1950s.
