I’m not exactly new to the MPHS or the MPHS website, but since the forum is new you could consider everyone a new member here.

Anyway, I am the president of the MPHS and also handle the webmaster duties. Charlie Duckworth and I pushed for the creation of this forum and we are responsible for most of the categories and settings. Be sure and let us know if you have any suggestions or problems. Charlie will be the main moderator, but I’m sure he will add other moderators as we move forward. My main duties will be on the technical side.

For those of you that have not heard my story before, I started my 35 year railroad career with Missouri Pacific in 1978. I started as a trainman at Coffeyville, KS and spent all my time in the transportation department retiring from UP in 2013. I never strayed too far from the Missouri/Kansas border and spent many years in Kansas City with most of them in the management ranks. I enjoyed my time on the railroad and will gladly tell you some stories if you give me the chance.

I look forward to reading introductions from all the members of this forum.
