Hi all,
I asked this on the old Yahoo MoPac modeling board but I guess it is all but abandoned. My questions concern the Missouri Pacific decals that are available from the seller dkmtech. I was looking at these decal sets for S scale when a thought occurred to me. Looking for some input to see if my idea is valid.

A while back I got two un-decorated out-braced (single sheathed) boxcars from S-Helper or Showcase Line (S scale). While looking at the stockcar decal set on eBay the idea hit me that the braces of the stockcar and the out-braced boxcar seem to be in the same positions. I know I would need to change the road numbers but are the buzzsaw herald and reporting marks the same size for both these type of cars?

Also would the “Route of the Eagle” slogan for the hopper set be the same size as the slogan on the steel boxcars? The buzzsaw herald looks like it would be a little large for a steel boxcar but is there a chance that they might be the same size? Just looking for a solution since I doubt my order with Tom will ever be filled.
