This week’s photos are of a train of flatcars and gondolas carrying sections of airplanes including a Navy jet and a Boeing fuselage. One of the photos shows what appears to be the St Louis arch in the background, which orientation would point to this being Lesperance Street Yard. So, presumably these planes are headed for display/preservation……what are the planes and where were they going?

The jet is a Convair Sea Dart XF2Y-1. There are four on display so this maybe one of them headed to a air museum. I can’t make out the Bureau Number on the tail 13576? which would tell us which museum this jet went to.

I can’t tell what the Boeing a/c is.
