Here’s a couple shots of a P2k covered hopper I am working on. Painted with Tru-Color Mopac Covered Hopper gray. Added a Plano PE roof walk and decaled using the Odd Ball decal set. I used PanPasels for the first time on weathering the sides and liked the fact you don’t have to use an air brush. The pastels do need to be sealed with Dullcote. Hi Charlie,

    Nice work.
You have created the atmosphere of a car in the 70s / early 80s pretty well!
Did it start life as a kit or was it RTR?

It was a RTR that I removed the lettering on and repainted with the Tru-Color MP gray. This was the first time I tried using the Pan Pasels and I like the fact you can control the amount of weathering with the size of the brush you use. They can also be removed with a Qtip and turpentoid if the weathering is too heavy. You do need to seal them with a flat coat.
