Saw one at a hobby shop in Baton Rouge, didn’t buy because didn’t know if it was correct and also it was costly, more than the price shown here.

Athearn got this one right – its a good car for the Mopac.

Should have bought it. But it will probably be gone by the time I get back there.

There are several around on ebay showing up once in a while for around $25 plus shipping.

To me this looks like the old Ramax car kits of the 70’s. They were 40′ flat side kits, that built up
    very nicely.

I still have a couple of the old Ramax flat kits….$2.00 less trucks and couplers…not a bad kit for the price!
Intermountain also did a 2 bay ACF car. I think they may have done kits and RTR cars. They did some MP and CEI cars.
Years ago Front Range also kit their 2 bay cars for MP and CEI. They were very nice as well.

Pat, the Athearn cars are still available at Model Train Stuff. They are pretty accurate. The InterMountain cars have the wrong outlet gates.
