I am looking for an expert opinion on if I have some details correct. Attached is a front and back of a small piece of cardboard. One side plainly is marked for the Memphis and McGehee RPO and is dated 12/25/1953. This makes since as there was for sure an RPO on this line using Train 334-335 (Delta Eagle) in 1953. What confuses me is that it says on one side “Fr Mem & McGehee TR 334”. Is this a marker for mail that was picked up by Train 334 in Yancopin and sorted on route or is mail that was marked for delivery at Yancopin from 334? This mail would include everything that was sorted at the start of the route in McGehee and everything picked up for Yancopin as the train came north from McGehee.

Any input on this topic would be appreciated.
