I was recently reading the Missouri Pacific Lines Freight Train Services and Equipment book on how in the 1960s there was a “train a day” that delivered grain from East St.Louis to New Orleans that Continental Grain Company paid a premium for. Can anyhow refer me to an article that has more info on this? What I am really looking for is what specific route these trains took. Did they go to Paragould, AR and turn south to McGehee or would they have went through Little Rock?

    Thanks

    Ryan Smith
