Trainfest 2021

Due to the cancellation of Trainfest 2020, MPHS will be at Trainfest 2021 in Milwaukee WI November 13-14.

MoPac will be the featured Railroad, but there will be some changes due to budget, social distancing, etc… The MoPac pins and plaques which were made up for 2020 will be used in 2021. There will not be a special model car produced this year. There will not be the large display signs.

MPHS will still have a large display area, we will have the big screen for showing MoPac films. We will have our company store, in addition to displays of historical items from our collection. There will be some presentations on MoPac History presented by MPHS members.

We will be in need of volunteers to help work the booth. We ask each volunteer for several hours of your time each day. We will create a schedule, and we will expect you to stay in the booth during your shift. Each volunteer will be given time each day to walk around. We would like volunteers to dress professionally, preferably an MPHS “polo” shirt (no shorts, t shirts, town jeans, etc). We will need volunteers for setup on Friday Nov 12 and tear down Sunday afternoon.

We would also like one or two more volunteers to give presentations. If you have a presentation ready to go, or would like to create one, let me know.

Volunteers will get exhibitor passes for free admission to Trainfest. Volunteers are responsible for your own transportation, food, and lodging arrangements.
