    Very cool photo. Date?

    Is this the same as the AMB water tank? It looks really huge.

    Why three pump houses? That much traffic?

    The image wasn’t dated but thinking has to be 1900-1917 era. The water around Tribute was in low supply so that maybe why they needed three pumps to fill the tank. The MP originally wanted to build their roundhouse and yards at Tribune but the town didn’t want the railroad there due to the water being hard to get so the MP built at Horace (named after Horace Greeley) just a few miles west. As to the AMB model and the photo the AMB might be a smaller tank.
