I also found the 1974 info very interesting. Similar data for 1980 would be even more helpful for me, although then I would probably need a little help correlating it to the 1980 timetable. Meanwhile I will see if I can add some interest to the operations on Van Buren and Coffeyville subs with the 1974 info.
Steve MarquessDavid LoslebenMemberIIRC, some charts or a map was posted on the Frisco.org site a few years ago which showed an MP station on a track connected to the Frisco, just west of their passenger station. There is some search capability on that site. Russell, you might get more info from the folks at the model railroad club.
David LoslebenMemberI find these fascinating at times. How about car 27, A TP CH going from St. Joseph (originated by TP?) to St. Joseph with time on the DRWG (a reporting mark I can only guess at.) Car 2 appears to maybe be a “roller” since route looks roundabout?
Steve MarquessDavid LoslebenMemberHubert of Mask Island Decals has several N sets. I think there are 40 and 50 ft box cars among others. I have talked to him about doing some sheets of just numbers, for the various 50 ft box cars, some flats and gons that I need multiple numbers for. A few “MP” and maybe a buzz saw or two but mostly just numbers. Anybody else interested in something like that? My thought was to have all unique numbers and buy three or four sheets to make sure I got two on successfully. Still don’t have a price, but it would probably be better if there were a few of us. I need mostly white numbers for MoPac, but I need black and white for Frisco. If I could get this chore done it would help my layout a lot.
