Jacquelyn Pratt, Accounting – In Memoriam

Jacquelyn Louise Pratt, 78, a resident of Parkville, MO passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 13, 1943 in Dodge City, KS to Victor and Mary (Lix) McDaniel.

She spent the majority of her working career working for the Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad in accounting and later as a Management trainer. She was very devoted to both her Lord and her family. She was a member of St. Therese Parish in Parkville and cherished time spent with family. Jackey was a great supporter of veterans activities and was a member of several veterans organizations including the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR).


She married the love of her life and best friend, Donald G. Pratt on March 28, 1987 in Omaha, NE. In addition to Don, survivors include her children: Daughter, Danelle and husband, Tim Bellamy of Omaha, NE, Sons, Derek Faulkner of Omaha and Devin Faulkner of San Antonio, TX; sister, Victoria Hill (Doug) of St. Louis, MO; brother, Timothy McDaniel of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Darren Faulkner in March of 2020, and her sister Bonita Spence.


The visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 31, at St. Therese Catholic Church. A Committal Service will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery. The Patriot Guard is honored to lead the escort from the church to the cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or North Kansas City Hospital Breast Cancer Program. Memories of Jackey and condolences may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.
