Keith Norris, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 8, 2026, in Keene, Texas at the age of 77. Born on September 27, 1948, in Cisco, Texas, Keith lived a rich and full life marked by hard work, dedication, and unconditional love for his family and community.

Keith built a distinguished career founded on integrity and diligence for Union Pacific Railroad, where he proudly served for 37 years. Beyond his professional achievements, he was known for his warm spirit and the simple pleasures he cherished. He enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, woodworking, sharing stories, volunteering, and spending time with the church retiree group. He was a strong and steady presence you knew you could depend on. He had a big personality and even bigger heart, never hesitating to help anyone in need. He was a wonderful mentor to so many passing on his vast knowledge of cars, computers, tools, and countless other subjects. He loved to laugh and have fun, and he never met a stranger. He adored his family and they adored him right back. They all loved spending time together over a delicious meal, which Keith had likely grilled – another of his favorite pastimes.

A proud family man, he built a loving home and family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Ann Norris; his children, April Patteson and her husband Andy; Kylene Seabourn and her husband Justin; Kelly Smith and her husband Steve; his grandchildren: Ayden, Adam, and Zoë Patteson; Brandon and Ginger Seabourn; Izzy and Hunter Smith; his brother Rick Norris, his sister-in-law Debra Sewell, and numerous cousins and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Jayne Norris.

Keith Norris’s legacy of devotion, warmth, and love will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His life was a testament to the enduring power of faith, family, and friendship. He was truly unforgettable and irreplaceable; he will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
