Memberships
Our Memberships are the best way to help us preserve MoPac’s history, and support our organization.
We offer three levels of membership, with increasing levels of support for our efforts to preserve the history and heritage of the Missouri Pacific and its subsidiary railroads.
Membership Benefits
The Eagle Magazine
The MPHS publishes a quarterly magazine called The Eagle. All members receive a copy of this magazine as part of their membership dues. If you have any questions about your subscription, please contact our membership services department via email at [email protected]. Copies of this magazine and previous issues can be purchased through our Company Store.
Annual Calendar
Each fall members receive a full color calendar for the following year. These calendars feature photos from our archives with a brief description of date, location, and content.
Store Discounts
Members of the Missouri Pacific Historical Society are entitled to a discount on most of our merchandise. This discount is only for current members in good standing. Non-members are encouraged to join our organization when making a purchase. Continued support through membership will help the organization thrive and be able to provide benefits such as this store and the website.
Preserve History
Regular Membership dues allow us to publish The Eagle and our annual calendar.
Sustaining and Eagle Membership dues greatly assist our continuing efforts to digitize and present our archives.
Annual Convention
Members are invited to attend our annual convention, which occurs over the first weekend in October. Conventions feature presentations about local history, railroad operations in the area, and, when feasible, a train ride and/or museum visit, and even working railroad shops.
Conventions are held in cities where MoPac and/or its subsidiaries operated. Sometimes they are held jointly with another railroad historical society.
Spouses/partners may attend at no cost.
