Preserving America’s Railroad Heritage for Future Generations
The Missouri Pacific Historical Society is a non-profit organization, founded in 1980 with roots that go back to 1974. We preserve and promote the history of the Missouri Pacific Railroad and its affiliates, which spanned the south and west of the United States dating back to the 1850s.

Our Historic Archives
We have a large collection of documents and images in our archival holdings. In addition to these items, we have informative articles about various aspects of the operation of the railroad.
Due to the nature of image files, the majority of our images are located in the digital image gallery. Documents, articles and some images are located in the other listed categories.
This is a work in progress which will probably never be “finished.” So, check back often for new content.
