Just click on the quick links under the blue banner and you’ll see a drop down with several options. One is new posts. This will give you a list of any new posts you haven’t read since your last visit.
November 2, 2015 at 12:42 am #7427William BehrendtMemberCharley, I’m using Chrome on Windows 10 and when I click on the Quick Links I don’t get any kind of a dropdown – it doesn’t do anything. I’m presuming it may be related to either Chrome or Win10.

Bill, I removed you as a user from the BB site and then added you back with your user account details from the main site. Let me know if this has cleared up the problem.
Mark, I have done the same for you. There are known issues between Chrome and Windows 10. Have you checked to see if Chrome is up to date? I had some slightly different issues when I upgraded to Windows 10 and found that Google had made some updates to Chrome which were not installed on my computer. Let me know if you are unfamiliar with how to correct this.
November 2, 2015 at 9:05 pm #7437benjamintickell53ParticipantMy problem has to do with how I access the forum. When I access thru the main mopac.org “home page” and then use the “Forums” link on right side menu, everything is a bit scrambled and compressed, with some overlapping text. That’s usually how I have been accessing, and while it works fine for posting, some/most of the links at the top (quick links menu, etc) are not functional.
When I access the forum through the direct link that Charlie provides on the Mopac Yahoo group page (http://mopac.org/bb/), then I get a full width version of the forum pages, and the quick links menu works fine.
When accessing thru the home page, even if I make the page full screen width, I still have the scrambled text, etc. The fix is obviously to access through the direct link Charlie provided, but I suspect many will access thru the main page so that glitch eventually needs to be addressed also. It appears that when the right side menu box is present, it is scrambling up the remainder of the page.
Hope that helps with troubleshooting.

November 2, 2015 at 10:28 pm #7438clemmie_doris12ParticipantBill, thanks for the info. You have discovered an issue that I was not aware of. I have contacted our IT consultant about the issue as it does the same for me in Chrome. I think it can be corrected, but it may take a few days.
As you pointed out, going directly to the forum site rather than going through the main website does seem to remove the problem.
To all concerned, if you experience a functionality problem when accessing the forum through the “Forums” link on the main page, please go directly to the forum using this URL: http://mopac.org/bb/.
If you go to the forum using this URL, you can quickly get to the home page of the main site by clicking on the Home link which is in the upper left corner of the page.
I’ll post further info as we work through the issue.

November 3, 2015 at 8:44 pm #7447mopacKeymasterIf you have an old saved URL this I think is the problem. I did what kevin suggest and saved the new URL.
Every thing seems to work now good.

June 19, 2018 at 1:51 pm #8818Bud MossParticipantHi Folks, I get the digest on a daily basis, and in that email, the posts are listed by number. Is there a way to search for a specific post by number? For instance Charlie posted the photo of the Missourian, number 3285. Can I jump to that quickly? Thanks.
JerryJune 19, 2018 at 3:30 pm #8819peggyrothschildParticipantJerry
If you click on the topic in the digest it will take you to the original message. I tried a search by entering ‘3285’ and it took me to your inquiry. 🙄Charlie
