I picked up one of the new Moloco MODX RBLs at the National Train Show in Portland last weekend. If you haven’t seen these yet, they are EXCELLENT. (The only problem with the recent releases from Moloco, Tangent, Exactrail, and Rapido is they are making almost all my other freight cars, other than Kadee, look bad.)
Here’s a link to Moloco’s Facebook page showing these; they’re not on their website yet. There are three road numbers for both MODX and WADX reporting marks. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Moloco-trains/1493986097558821
Does anyone recall seeing the service lanes these operated in? Origin-destination pairs? Customers or loadings? I am assuming they are appropriate for California-Kansas City via D&RGW in the early 1960s, but would like to see at least one photo confirming that,
