I recently came across some correspondence from the late John Mills, a longtime member of MPHS and a lifetime rail passenger historian. This material was apparently submitted by John in 2005 to some publication, possibly MPHS but more likely the Arkansas Railroader or another regional publication. As far as can be determined, it was never published. More Pullman information has surfaced (via the Newberry Library files) since this was prepared. but this provides an excellent overview of heavyweight Pullman operations on Missouri Pacific in the 1950s and 1960s.
