We were watching the movie Giant, which was released in 1956, yesterday and I’d forgotten that at two points in the story the movie contained brief scenes of shot on the T&P, probably near Van Horn, but I’m not sure of that.
Of most interest was the scene where Elizabeth Taylor and the children were on the train about to leave to visit her parents back east, because it features a T&P coach in the pre-Eagle green or brown scheme. I’ll have to confess that it was difficult to tell if it was a greenish brown or a brownish green and wonder what others might think after seeing it.
The other scene featuring two HW cars was taken too early in the morning to discern what color the cars were in it.
Now I’m curious what others who may have watched the movie recently think about the color of the coach.
