I won a slide auction today, for a car numbered MP X14143, which is interestingly similar to the car MP X14144 at the WP museum in Portola, which I shot last summer. I don’t have the slide yet, so I’m attaching the eBay display copy. Also don’t know yet if there’s any more identifying information written on the slide. This one may be a bunk car at the time it was shot.

I’m wondering if these two cars were somehow related in their rebuild history. In this photo, there is another car of the same series coupled to this one. These were former 300 series mail storage cars.
