    I used the book “Missouri Pacific Diesel Power” by Kevin EuDaly, paying attention to delivery, renumbering and retirement dates. There was a fleet renumbering going on at the time as MP converted to all 4-digit numbers, so there are a lot of instances of different locos using the same number in different years.
