The December 31, 1942 Condensed Profile for the GCL around Corpus Christi just shows “rock”. There’s one short area that shows “shell”. Rail was 75 and 80 pound. About half of the line had no tie plates and some of the road was partially plated. No mention of colors but when I was in Louisiana and saw shells being used on some industry spurs it was white.
