    You’re right, Charlie. But coincidentally I wrote to Rapido today:

    Will there be a version without the dynamic brake? I’m aware that this affects the number and location of carbody vents also.

    I’m thinking specifically of Missouri Pacific.

    And got this response:

    So I suppose, someday, maybe, we’ll get our wish.

    I was inspired by discussions on Andy Harman’s “list”, basically a mail exchange about diesels. There’s a roster, so besides MP the other lines that got RS11s without dynamics were Erie Mining, GB&W, NdeM, NKP, NYC, SCOP (S-BC),and TP&W. At least we weren’t unique.
