Planning is underway for the 2016 convention. The dates are October 6-9, 2016. The hosts will be Charlie Duckworth and Jerry Michels. The meeting facility is undetermined at this time. But, it is our goal to offer a reduced convention fee for all MPHS members that reserve a room at the lodging/meeting facility that is chosen. Some presentations are already lined up.
This should be a great meet. Be sure to mark your calendars, now. More info will be posted here and on the main website as it becomes available.

For those members bringing their spouses we are working on several local attractions that they can attend during the convention. There is the historic Missouri State capital, tours of the old prison and more to come over the next few months. Please indicate when you make your reservation you are bringing your spouse and their name so we have a good head count for tours. There is no extra convention charge if you bring your spouse – your registration fee covers both of you.** Members are encouraged to take advantage of this discounted rate before September 6, 2016 – this discount rate cannot be extended past this date as its part of our contract with the hotel.

February 13, 2016 at 8:19 pm #7817peggyrothschildParticipantHere’s the convention page. We have 12 presentations lined up. Please get your hotel room booked early as there is a college reunion that weekend and you could miss out on the $64 rate we have if you wait. The other hotels near our convention are more than twice this rate.

February 14, 2016 at 9:20 pm #7822alexortiz25ParticipantJeff City would be an easy two hour drive from St Louis Lambert airport. West on I-70 and then south on US54.
Optionally you could take Amtrak from either St Louis or Kirkwood to Jeff City.
