Most MP collectors are familiar with the reproduction MP card calendars which have flooded the market in recent years. MP business cards now seem to be appearing in quantity.
MP did indeed offer business cards to current and retired employees, often using the graphics from the reverse of the current year’s card calendar. Most of the originals that I have seen have been from the 1940s, and this graphic was used on the 1944 card calendar.
Its always a judgement call when a large quantity of paper items suddenly appear — are they old stock that has been stored away for years, or are they new production items?
I have not seen these latest business cards so cannot confirm either way, but would appreciate input from anyone who has purchased similar cards recently. Images of the real and reproduction 1944 calendars are included for comparison purposes.

You just gave me a great idea for my next round of business cars
David,
If you find a place that can handle that kind of job at a reasonable cost, let me know. Repro business cards with current information on the reverse (i.e.- zip codes on addresses, or email information) would not be confused for 1940-vintage cards.

Bill:
I use a local printer and I think I paid around $50 for 1000 full color 2 sided glossy business cards. Similar deals are available with vista print and other online printers as well.
