In a park in Cotter Arkansas is a little railroad memorial display, and among the photos is a very indistinct one of a two story wood depot predating the present one.

Does anyone know of any better pictures?

From memory, this model depot might resemble that depot somewhat.

If you have the Mike Adams book on the White River Railway (MP White River Division) there is a photo of Cotter on page 137 — not great, but a photo. There is also a drawing of the Cotter depot on page 167, taken from company blueprints, which would give you better dimensional information.

I’ll need to find that book. We visit north Arkansas a lot, family in Conway, and go up and down US 62 all the time along that part of the MP.

I looked at Amazon and there’s one out there for $59 and the same book is on eBay. It’s an ex-library book and appears to be in poor shape. I do see them listed on eBay a couple times a year for around $30 in good condition. I did a closed auction search and one sold on 11/6 for $25 so they are around.
