I’ve been collecting for 50 years and never came across an Iron Mountain lantern. Mike Adams confirmed they did exist as he related a story where he was driving from Little Rock to Carthage, Missouri to visit his father. Mike had stopped in an antique store along the way and came across an Iron Mountain lantern. For whatever reason he didn’t buy it but on returning home he stopped at the store to purchase it and it had already been sold. I recently came across these images on a web site; they show an embossed globe with StLIM&S on an unmarked frame. At least we know globes exist but the elusive marked frame is still yet to be found.
