A new batch of Moloco General American RBL insulated boxcars is on its way.

Of interest are a couple of ART variations of repainted cars. These are the TPLX reporting marks, with roofwalk removed and painted ART orange. This makes the cars good for 1967+, up to about 1972. If you apply a small patch-out and remove the X from the reporting mark, it moves the cars’ era out to late 1970s.

The model is currently shown as Reservation status. If you pre-ordered some of these, you’ll be getting a notice from Moloco. If not, they should be available in a couple of weeks.
