I first washed the containers in Dawn dish washing detergent to eliminate any mold release from the castings. Then after drying I used Tamiya light gray primer and sprayed the top, sides and ends. Let this dry overnight. Container was then painted with Tru-Color Eagle Gray and dried overnight.

After trying to get the Tamiya masking tape (which is quite thin) to lay down between the ribs I decided to just airbrush the Eagle blue and take my chances. As long as you spray directly at the tape any overspray is minimal.
Charlie,
Container looks great. Looking forward to seeing one on a flat or in one of the gons. Thanks for sharing your work.
I can’t believe how much you get done…and so quickly!
Gary
