      I have added some pictures of various 40 box cars that I ran across. Thought these might be of interest to some of the members. Following is a list of these box cars:

      CEI 117861 Springfield, Missouri September 30, 1976.

      MP 126106 Aurora, Missouri January 4, 1976.

      MP 119352 Aurora, Missouri May 22, 1978.

      CEI 118756 Springfield, Missouri January 11, 1976.

      CEI 117414 Springfield, Missouri January 11, 1976.

      MP 129385 & MP 132006 Springfield, Missouri September 16, 1975.

        These are great. Do you have anymore to share? I’ve got a few Intermountain and Branchline 40′ boxcars I’d like to paint and decal for the late 1970’s.

          All the photo’s are great, thanks for sharing. I’m sure you took all these during your “lunch break”….

          Maybe Charlie will now do a ‘build and paint’ thread on some 40 foot cars!!! (fingers are crossed)

          Really enjoy the C&EI shots….
