Can anyone identify a date or location on these photos found in MPHS archives? There are about 12 photos total, but most are extreme close ups showing damage. All are marked SHPX and a number.

I clicked on the photo with the wrecker and it has an IC diamond on the side – so just adds a little more confusion to the story.

Maybe its not MP, just something we ended up with from who knows where.

I’d concur with that, David. File them as “Likely not MoPac”.

Wouldn’t SHPS records show those car numbers as damaged and when and where?

            However……….

There’s certainly the same old records problem as at my office. B.C. times (before computers) records means that old paper records, if they exist at all any more, are buried a mile down below other irrelevant paper locked away in the furthest corner of an inaccessible warehouse, under a leaky roof and partly chewed up to make residential real estate for the local rodentia.
