    Pat,
You may wish to contact Ed Flaugher. He has done several MoPac paint schemes along with Frisco, MKT and others dispalyed at several shows I have attended, OKC, Jacksonville(AR) and Plano. All his work looked very good.

Looking at the last photo, 1405 appears to have a different size doghouse. A skinner & taller.

Well as I live in the west in the Protest Capital of the world. But moved south from that last year. It is mild in Wood burn.

I will let yo know when it arrives, hopefully early next week.

Gentlemen, your responses to my initial request for information have far exceeded my expectations. It will take some time to digest all the information you have sent me. I am most impressed by your healthy and active Missouri Pacific Historical Society and I really want to thank you for your helpful responses.

Thank you for posting this fantastic resource. Would anyone be able to explain the characters listed in the “business handled” column? I’m curious what T, F, A, I,O, N….etc. might indicate. Thank you again.

Hi Pat – Thanks for your reply. I’m planning to model the 1940s & 1950s, so those would work for me. Thanks again!

1927 IGN RR(MP Lines) changed titles of Night Chief dispatchers to Division
Trainmasters, an official position. I am attaching a link to the award, as the Job at San Antonio was abolished and put back on numerous times from 1937 to at least 1940.

Is a equipment diagram available for this caboose series? It would be nice to the interior arrangement. Perhaps one could be posted here?

Thank you very much for answering my questions. If a person enters Higginsville from the east driving west on Missouri highway 20, you actually can see the right-of-way just before reaching the intersection of the Missouri 20 bypass and the entrance to the Confederate cemetery. Trees line up in almost a straight line where the rails where. According to rough data and some worn maps, the railroad bridge crossed I-70 just east of the I-70 Mo13 junction close to Mulkey Creek. Thanks again for taking time to answer my question.

Is that not due to there being a brake wheel on both ends of the car?
