My quest-ion is .. When the real motor was removed and made as a baggage room did the rear truck keep the traction motor.

    BIll,

7100 was custom built by EMC in Sept 1940 with only one 1000 hp 567 engine and two traction motors, and with the rear ‘engine’ as a Baggage Room.

Hi Jerry thanks for the comments. The smaller one is metal , but base was added to to display on a wall. with what you say it makes
since about its use and use.

The bus sing is larger , and would be mounted on a wall, or hanging
at stations that had inter bus service to a different locations , with no rail service.

Gregg yes I am doing it .020 sheet stock brass started wile a 75000 gal tack from PSCthen I started cutting the thing in pieces and then building new parts. Then putting back together. It has 4 courses the PSC has 3 . It will look nice when done, I am about 80% done with the fabrication.

Yet I am nuts love to cut things up. Remember the 1000.00 Wasatch U P car I made the one and only St.LBM RPO car.

Sorry Bill, can’t help you with images. Would enjoy following your construction. Are you planning to do this tank in brass?
